I wanted to write again to thank you for the spoons that just arrived.  i feel so fortunate to have added to my little collection of your work.  
as I’ve said before, they are exquisite and perfectly executed.  what strikes me now that i can see several side-by-side is how unique each one is.   Markings, holes, handles…all are different, and the combinations are so lovely.  it is impossible for me to pick a ‘favorite’!   I also enjoy that each spoon has its own ‘name’.
It has been a delight to work with you to get them to me..indeed they travel a long, long way and i must wait patiently for them to make the journey to the USA. The packaging is secure, and beautiful too!

I found Helena in Country Living UK. The Isle of Sky seemed magical, a full page picture. The next page Helena in the middle of this vastness and her jewelry. I was entranced. I hoped that she would deal with someone in the US as I sent off an email.
I wanted a ring for myself and my sister Alice. Helena was so prompt and delightful to work with. She sent us two ring sizers right away. Then kept in touch as to how the rings were coming along and asked me what I hoped they would look like.
When the box came in the mail I was so excited. A lovely note, two brown boxes tied with thin string, sporting tags...ring for Gail...ring for Alice. Upon opening my box I was overwhelmed. Helena got it perfect. Her lines and dots like the landscape she lives in.
The pocked stones she picked up along the shore were now delicately fashioned in silver and on my finger. My sister came two days later and I presented her box unopened along with Helena's note. She was very touched and we are both over the moon.
Now I am thinking that I will be needing something else from the Isle of Skye. I can hear Helena's small hammer calling me from her little caravan workshop. Tap Tap Tap...a broach maybe???

Earlier this year I read an article in Country Living magazine about Helena, her working with silver and taking inspiration from the landscape around her home on the Isle of Skye. From the pictures I spied a lovely necklace and contacted Helena to see if I could get one made. The original necklace was a short length but I was looking for a longer one. This was no problem to Helena who was happy to accommodate my specifications and, with a few suggested extra details from her, she produced a beautiful long necklace that can be worn casually or dressy. It was delivered the next day, to sign for, in a box and beautifully wrapped. Jewellery is very personal thing. This necklace is unique and I will love it each time I wear it. Thank you!
